Higgs Young Architects have designed and completed mixed use masterplans and created town centre design guides. At Riverside Norwich a unique quarter of the city with a distinctive riverfront urban environment has been created.

Higgs Young Architects have been working recently with Farrells for Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea Councils providing feasibility studies and design guides  for housing, retail markets & shopfronts and public realm for public participation with the local neighbourhood groups.

Our masterplanning skills provide clients with an accurate and rapid assessment  of a site’s potential and the ability to present a high quality visual communication for consultation with planning authority and landowners.

Higgs Young Architects have experience in arts and education masterplanning and feasibility, including site appraisal, strategic design, planning applications and urban design guidelines.

From 1980-97 Gary Young was Design Director with Terry Farrell responsible for award winning urban design projects including Comyn Ching in Covent Garden, London.
