2002-09 Eco warehouses for Gazeley, Germany

Logistics warehouse for Wal*Mart, CEPL, Logistec, Zufall, UTI, Schumacher t totalling 150,000 m2 developed with Gazeley eco initiatives to reduce wastage, C02 emissions and energy costs: timber laminated structure chosen to achieve a reduction in embodied carbon; high efficiency lighting with daylight and movement sensors;  heat recovery from refrigeration plant; solar thermal hot water for amenities; roof mounted photovoltaic renewable energy; rain water harvesting grey water for toilets and landscape biodiversity; green roof to reduce rainwater runoff.
