2009 Warehouse for Tesco, Psary Poland

Distribution Centre for Tesco totalling 55,000 m2 proposed  with Gazeley eco initiatives to reduce wastage, C02 emissions and energy costs: increased area of dyalit roof lights and wall lights over the loading doors;  high efficiency lighting with daylight and movement sensors;  under floor heating in ambient areas with heat recovery from refrigeration plant ; solar wall passive heating; solar thermal hot water for amenities and tray wash; rain water harvesting grey water for toilets and landscape biodiversity; green roof over chilled areas providing thermal mass and reduces rainwater runoff.
